God speaks to His people in many different ways. We see this truth throughout the Bible. God also speaks to different people in different ways. For me, there are particular scriptures He speaks to me to direct me. He also speaks to me through many things in our natural world. One of those things is […]
Today, I want to share an article from my friend, Karen Hardin, with you. It will uplift and encourage you! Kim Potter The Bible instructs us not to grow weary in doing what He has called us to do. It is followed by the encouragement that in due season we will reap if we faint […]
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23 This verse teaches us that we can achieve what we declare […]
I am sometimes asked to go to my daughter’s house and organize. It’s something I am good at. Therefore, she calls Mom when she needs a room organized and doesn’t know where to start. The last time she made this call was a few years ago when Bryson was at bible camp. She asked that […]
I came across a scripture last evening that captured my heart. I have read it many times before, but today, it arrested my thoughts. Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life. (Ps 119:92-93) The Amplified […]
No, that is not a misprint. I heard this statement last week, and it caught my attention. Let me share with you the context in which it was spoken. A minister was talking about God, and he said, “When you declare war on God’s people, you declare war on God.” Oh my! No one in […]
And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. (I Ki 19:12) I want to share a couple of things with you this morning. First of all, God recently reminded me of a book by Judy Jacobs called Take it by Force. […]
Many years ago, a woman walked up to me in church and whispered in my ear, “Kim, when you feel you are winning the battle, when you begin to see a breakthrough, DO NOT LAY DOWN YOUR SWORD.” Although it was many years ago, I remember those words as if they were yesterday. I share […]
Although 2020 is far behind us, it seems some of the effects of it remain. People continue to deal with long term health issues. There remains more anxiety and fear than I ever saw before that year – prices are still crazy high for most things and taxes continue to rise, at least from what […]
Could it be that a shift has taken place in the Spirit, and it is time to lengthen your stride? Could it be? This morning when I awoke, something was different. I knew there had been a shift in the Spirit, and then the Lord reminded me of something that once took place with my […]
Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls.” (Jer 6:16) This is one of my favorite scriptures and one I think of often. Today I spoke with a friend about […]
Sometimes, I feel that God speaks to me in the most unusual ways. I can always tell when it is Him or when it is the Spirit of God because it stirs an immediate reaction within me. The message resonates deeply in my spirit as a truth that I can instantly recognize. I had one […]
Saturday night I dreamed all night long. It was an odd night, I felt half-asleep yet very alert all through the night. In this state of half in and half out, I continued to dream, the same dream, yet different, over and over. I dreamed of harvest time. In each dream I visited a harvest […]
Recently, I have had a scripture on my mind… “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted.” (Jn 15:7 NLT) While many of us are familiar with this scripture, I wonder if we have ever really meditated on the […]
There are some lessons God has taught me that return to my mind over and again. In word and deed is one of those lessons. I hear those words and know exactly what God is talking about and what to do. I think of it each month when I receive magazines filled with anointed articles […]
If you have been with our ministry for a very long time, you may remember this. I once received a prophetic word that was the oddest thing to me. The word was… “God is taking you into a place of intimacy with Him. God has great things for you, but you can’t receive them until […]
3 John 2 says, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. While this sounds great, it is not so easy for most people. For many people, it’s not so easy to imagine a prospering soul. A prospering mind or thought life. Perhaps your soul has […]
For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity. Acts 8:23 The other day, I received an email from one of our readers. She was believing God for several miracles: healing, financial blessing, and more. She is a strong woman of God, and it is hard to move her. On that […]
Recently, I have been studying the concept of soul prosperity. Over the weekend, as I studied this subject, I heard a statement. It was said, “Complaining reveals we are losing the battle over our thoughts.” Complaining is the evidence you are losing the battle over your thoughts or over your mind. 1 Corinthians 10:9-11 says, […]
It has been many months since I had a dream from the Lord. Therefore, when God gave me a dream on Friday morning, I was filled with excitement. My dream was brief, yet vivid and colorful. In my dream, I was at my home, walking outside with my Mom. We were looking around at a […]
