A scripture came to mind as I hung up the phone. It is found in Psalm 37:4. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. The Amplified says it like this: Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of […]
I don’t know how the weather has been in your area, but where I live, we have had tremendous winds for the past few weeks. I can’t think of winds without thinking breakthrough – I don’t know why – it’s just something God spoke to me many years ago. I believe winds of breakthrough are […]
After preparing yesterday’s writing, I have been praising God more and more. As I do, there are some significant things I have noticed. I want to share them with you today. I spend quite a bit of time in prayer, it is a priority in my life. It always will be. I know there is […]
For anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. Hebrews 4:10 One of the most challenging things many believers face is entering into and remaining in the rest of God. If you have ever experienced the rest of God, you will quickly know when you have […]
In days past, I have been present at different prayer groups where people would pray and then say, “Lord, if it be thy will.” In other words, they asked God for something and ended the prayer with if it by thy will, not fully knowing the will of God for their prayer. I do believe […]
Hebrews 12:1 says, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. I was thinking about this verse over the weekend while […]
I have been meditating on this scripture for a few weeks. It is found in Luke 8:44-46. She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched Me?” Jesus asked. But they all denied it. “Master,” said Peter, “the people are crowding and pressing against You.” […]
Early one morning, I was awakened by the sound of a text message on my phone. When I picked it up and looked at the message, I realized it was a scripture sent by a friend. Little did my friend know that her timely text was the answer to the very thing I had been […]
Today, I want to share with you a dream I once had. It had been quite some time since I felt I had a dream from the Lord, this was such a dream. I dreamed I was with my Mom. We went to this place to visit my uncles. My uncles are on my dad’s […]
One morning, I was driving to run errands and fill up with gas. As I went, I looked down at my gas hand, noting it was empty. Breanne had driven it home the night before, and we should have stopped and got gas, but it was late, so we didn’t. I told her I thought […]
Friday is our day off. It is usually a day of rest and spending time with God, at least for me. This past Friday was different. So much has been going on with moving into a bigger office so we can expand. During the process, nothing has worked out the way or in the time […]
There is a testimony I heard many years ago that I love revisiting time and again. I first read it in a book by Kenneth E. Hagin. In the book he tells a story of a woman he once met who had been believing God for healing. This woman had prayed for many months and […]
I was spending some quiet time with God in worship over the weekend when God brought a person to mind. I don’t know them personally, but they were praise and worship leaders I used to listen to daily over twenty years ago. I had stopped listening to them when I heard they had fallen into […]
Today, I want to share a testimony from one of our readers in response to last weeks writing. I hope it encourages you – it certainly encouraged me. Really enjoyed today’s message! Allow me to share one of my own experiences with God’s sovereignty and His all-powerful specific control of the elements: In 1991, we had […]
Over the past few weeks, I have been interacting with someone who has obvious deep seated anger. I am not sure what the root cause of the anger is, but it is coloring every area of their life as well as their conversations. As I was praying for this person, the Lord spoke to me […]
Last week, when I was preparing the audio prayer to go out to our financial partners, there was a different anointing on that particular prayer…it felt as if God was compelling me to declare a time of blessings over our partners in a new way. I completed the prayer and had it scheduled to go […]
Numerous times this week, a scripture has come to mind. It is found in Psalm 37:23. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. I was having a conversation with a close friend. She was sharing with me her feelings about the house she was buying. […]
It’s that time of year… when we begin planting seeds to get a jump start on gardening. In preparation for this, I purchased some herb seed to plant, some for me, and some for Breanne. She too wanted fresh herbs. One day I gathered up all my supplies, dirt, seeds, and pots and carried them […]
This morning I came across a post I had shared with friends on facebook back in 2015. Remember it was several years ago, when my grandchildren were small. I had forgotten about this day and I am so thankful I was reminded. I want to share it with you today… What a wonderful day! I […]
And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (Deut 8:18) Over the weekend, I was meditating on this scripture and asked God for insight into its meaning. […]
