This phrase has been coming to mind for a couple days, the process of a seed. And at the same time, a song called The Rose, keeps coming to mind, especially one part, I want to share that one part with you today. When the night has been too lonely And the road has been […]
Prayer has failed us, intercession alone will bring us through. Rees Howell As I read this quote by Rees Howell, I began to understand this place that the Holy Spirit had led me into in my prayer life. I have always been a person of prayer. I have always been a person who confessed the […]
As I opened my Bible the other day something caught my eye that I had written in the front of my Bible years ago. I often write things in my Bible that impact me when I hear them, this was one of those. It said, the amount of the word of God you have in […]
By Kelita Deems Today is President’s Day, established in 1885 to honor our first president,George Washington. He was an amazing God-fearing man, and I am thankful he was our first president. The law of firsts is very important, especially when God is involved. And I am sure we can all agree that God was very […]
I love when God answers the big prayers! The seemingly impossible things – the miracles! That being said, I have come to love when He begins to answer those little prayers just as much. Last Friday, God answered two seemingly small prayers in a big way and I am rejoicing every time I think about […]
For some of you this will be a hard read, and for others, it will be enlightening. For me, it was enlightening and hard. I had a situation take place last week with a family member that caused me to be upset. As this incident stayed on my mind for a couple days, the Lord […]
I awoke to the sound of rain hitting against my window. My plan had been to go to work early and catch up some things, however, my mind went to a conversation I had with my Mom the night before. She had informed me the news said we would have rain that day and the […]
As I was preparing for my day the Lord spoke to me and said; when you take a step toward humility, I take a step toward you. I knew the situation He was referring to, I was thinking about it even before I heard His voice that day. You see, I had a couple situations […]
And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentils: and the people fled from the Philistines. But he (Shammah) stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the […]
A sentence, part of a scripture, has been playing over and over in my mind today. While I am not sure if it is because I am studying for the Healing Prayer Call teaching or if it is something God is trying to get across to me, either way, I want to share my thoughts […]
It’s the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes. Song of Solomon 2:15 The Amplified says it like this; Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil and ruin the vineyards, while our vineyards are in blossom. This scripture came to mind as I sat down to write […]
Recently the Lord gave me a very personal dream in which He was saying to me, ‘come up higher in Me.’ For several days after the dream, I sought the Lord on exactly how I could do that…go higher in Him. The answer to that question is not a quick answer, it is a process […]
We talked about this verse yesterday. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23 This verse tells us we […]
Mark 11:23-24 is probably one of the most well-known passages of scriptures in the Bible. It was what the Word of Faith, along with other denominations, use to teach on having what we say. As you know, I too believe the power of our words is important. I believe in confessing the word of God […]
Have you ever noticed when you pray for patience everything under the sun happens to oppose patience? It’s true – our patience is often developed during trying times, in much the same way we develop muscles. It is by resistance that the muscles of patience are formed. Last week, I found the same applies in […]
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:2-3 I love this scripture, but honestly, I have always related it mostly […]
Recently I was praying about a particular personal need. After several weeks of praying…yes weeks, the Lord spoke to me and said ‘what is in your hands? Use that!’ I suddenly knew what God was showing me was I already had the seed I needed for my harvest, it was here all along, in my […]
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 I was thinking about this verse this morning as I spent quiet time with […]
It has been quite a while since I had a dream from the Lord. But recently, upon waking, I knew this one was a game changer. In the dream I saw an entire city preparing for an upcoming marathon. The greatest runners in the country had come to participate and I understood that this race […]
It seems every year we hear of more and more flu viruses going around. Many people are afraid of the flu, there is no reason to fear, God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind. The best thing we can do is to build up our […]
