This morning I was praying about a healing I am contending for, as I prayed, I was reminded of a scripture found in Matthew 8, one in which Jesus, said ‘I have not seen such great faith!’

This scripture jumped in my spirit as I was praying, it captured my attention and sent me on a path of discovery.

Matthew 8:5-10 says; Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented. And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

As I read this scripture, the Lord began to talk to me. He said ‘He said, He said, she said.’

I thought that was an odd statement, but as He lead me to scriptures, I realized what He was showing me.

Genesis 1:3 says ‘And God said ‘let there be light, and there was light.’

Mark 11: 13-14 says; And seeing from afar a fig tree having leave, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response, Jesus said to it, ‘Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.’ Verse 20 says; Now in the morning, as they passed by, the saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.

So, now we see…God spoke to the light and light was. Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it dried up. He said. He said.

But it doesn’t end there my friend. Jesus went on to say to His disciples…

Verse 22; So Jesus answered and said to them. Have faith in God. For assuredly, I SAY TO YOU, whoever says to this mountain, ‘be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.’

Jesus is saying to us today, ‘just as God spoke to the light and it obeyed, just as I spoke to the fig tree and it obeyed, you too can speak to your situation and IF YOU BELIEVE and DO NOT DOUBT, it must obey you.’

This morning, as I was praying ‘Jesus, if YOU speak the word only my healing will come.’ He said to me, ‘YOU SPEAK THE WORD ONLY, you have the same power as I do to speak to this mountain.’

Hebrews 4:12 declares; the word of God is living and powerful. The word of God is alive and full of power friends, when we speak HIS word, we are speaking life and power into the situation.

2 Corinthians 4:13 says ‘I believed THEREFORE, I spoke.’

Romans 10:8 says; But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. That is the word of faith which we preach.
Verse 10 says; for with the heart on believes and with the mouth we confess what we believe.’

I don’t know what your situation is today but this I do know…you have the power to change it with your words. Speak the word only. Speak to the mountain of whatever it is in your life. Speak to it and believe what you say…if you do, it will come to pass. You have the word of God on it. You have the promise of Jesus on it…nothing else is needed. Speak the word only and watch your situation change today.

It’s time to stop complaining about the situation and begin speak to it!!! Now, speak the word, in Jesus name.
