A scripture has been on my mind this morning, I can’t seem to stop thinking about it. It is found in Philippians 1:3-5.
I want to share it with you today from the Amplified Bible.
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.”
In every prayer of mine I always make my entreaty and petition for you all with joy and delight.
I thank my God for your fellowship, your sympathetic cooperation and contributions and partnership, in advancing the good news, the Gospel, from the first day you heard it, until now.
These set of scriptures perfectly say what I feel about our partners. Our partners have been on my mind all week, that’s probably the reason God keeps bringing this scripture to mind.
We have talked a lot lately about being thankful. I truly believe a thankful heart is a key to the blessings of God, and there is nothing I am more thankful for than our partners.
I know most of our partners by name, we correspond weekly many times. Frankly, in 2017, one of my goals is to know my partners more, to correspond with them more and to make myself more available to them.
Daily I pray and thank God for you, our partners, I seek God and make petitions on your behalf and I will continue to.
Because of our partners, in 2016, we have jointly fed the poor, clothed those who needed clothing, paid electric and grocery bills for those in need. Together we have undergirded many ministries. Together we have sown seed in Mexico, Africa and England, as well as the US. Together we have given hats, gloves and food to the homeless. Together we have purchased school supplies for kids who would not have them otherwise. Together we provided Christmas presents for those who were not able to purchase Christmas presents. And this is only a small portion of what we have accomplished…together.
Together we have sent the word of God out five days a week to thousands of people. You, my friend, have sown the word of God over and over again. We are declaring a harvest of the word of God being manifest in your life in the coming year like never before.
Ecclesiastes 4 says; two are better than one, because they have a good, more satisfying, reward for their labor.
I love that! As we work together and give together, the Bible says we will have a good, more satisfying reward.
As 2016 comes to a close, I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for every penny you sowed into this ministry this year. Thank you for standing with us, working with us, laboring with us and now it is our time to reap. This year, we are declaring an abundant harvest for all our partners, beginning this day.
As it says in Ephesians 3; Now to Him Who, by the action of His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams— To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
Today I ask God to remember your seed and to bring forth an abundant harvest, one so big you can hardly contain it. It’s your time, you have been found faithful and now, I pray, you see His faithfulness in an abundant way. We pray your harvest this coming year is beyond anything you could pray, desire, hope, think or imagine. Because that is simply how our God works. AMEN!
