I have been talking with you a great deal about the doubling God is speaking about this month. In the midst of hearing these things from the Lord and seeing them confirmed over and over. There is yet another stream of ‘words’ that are coming forth for this month.
I read in an article by Johnny Enlow the other day that 95% of the CHURCH do not tithe and give offerings. A few days later I was reading another current writing and it said that less than 3% of the church tithe and give offerings. I have to tell you, this saddens me.
I get hundreds of letters and emails each month from people who need financial miracles. I would say 95% of the church are not walking in the blessings of the Lord. That being said, if they are not honoring God with their tithe, I can see why.
I know many of you are faithful tithers and I am not referring to you. I want those who don’t tithe and give to realize that it is not a miracle they need but a revelation of God’s principle for sowing and reaping.
The tithe is our covenant connector. I have often heard Creflo Dollar say ‘the money issue is the least thing we need to be faithful in, if we are not faithful in the money thing, we will not walk in the blessings of God.’
I firmly believe, in this month, God is honoring those who are connected to the covenant in their finances. I don’t believe His blessings only include finances, but I do believe it is a part of it.
I believe we are embarking upon a time of great breakthrough and I am excited about it! Many have literally positioned themselves for promotion, for provision and for healing. They position themselves by obeying the word of God concerning their lives. Are you positioned for blessings? I certainly hope so.
I want to share with you something I read by Phyllis Ford from the Elijah List. I realize many of you subscribe to the Elijah List, but I want to reiterate this message, if I may.
Spirit of Elijah and the Cyrus Anointing by Phyllis Ford
Two things that are greatly encouraging is the Spirit of Elijah and the Cyrus anointing that I see very strong and evident in this hour. The Spirit of Elijah carries a powerful apostolic, prophetic, priestly grace that will come upon His people to help others come out of the caves of issues and inner hurts with a spirit of might and counsel coupled with a strong deliverance anointing.It will touch hearts and assist in the process of healing many who have suffered abuses. It will tear down the partitions of incorrect mindsets (lies of past experiences and unresolved pain), as it frees up His people with new life. It will be the work of the Holy Spirit moving mightily in His Glory to catch those who have felt as if they have been falling through the cracks.
The Cyrus Anointing will be placed upon those who the Lord has designated to be carriers of wealth vehicles. We will see financial releases as the Lord freely disperses provision between now until Pentecost. These finances are the Lord’s response to prayer that will set up places to help many who will be in crisis. Help and refuge will come as the plans of previous blueprints that God gave to many in times past are implemented. A Cyrus and Joseph people will rise up to carry out projects that will prepare for trouble ahead.
The Lord is saying to His people to become “Freedom” so that they help others to find their way. I had a vision of a great number of people coming out of the narrow place. The Lord told me that was what I was looking at, and we are coming out to bring multitudes out with us. If not, they will perish in the way. God will prepare His people to maneuver through great financial hardships and provide necessary resources. – P. Ford
Some of you may not be familiar with what is referred to as the Cyrus anointing. Therefore I wanted to share some scripture and insight with you. “Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held –to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.” Isaiah 45:1-3.
This scriptures is talking about a seven fold anointing which includes:
1. “To subdue nations before him” – this anointing has global and kingdom influence.
2. “To loose the armor of kings” – this anointing is successful in spiritual warfare.
3. “To open before him the “double” doors, so that the gates will not be shut” – there’s the doubling again, double opportunities and double blessings.
4. “To go before you and make the crooked places straight – level mountains.” Favor in the midst of impossibilities and an easier path to walk upon, no more uphill climbs.
5. “To break in pieces the gates of bronze” – to lay hold of unreachable opportunities and impossibilities.
6. “To cut the bars of iron” – to destroy ‘withholding’ spirits and delays.
7. “To give you the treasures of darkness & hidden riches of secret places” – Laying hold of God’s blessings and being able to see hidden opportunities.
