Jesus said it like this; According to your faith, be it unto you. (Mt. 9:29) One night, while waiting to hear from God on a particular prayer, God said it to me like this; “I can only take you far as you are willing to go.” He went on to say, “You will have to […]
I was driving down the highway, running my errands and praying as I drove. Suddenly, Mark, chapter four came to mind. On the same day, when evening had come, He (Jesus) said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the […]
The enemy continues to attempt to cause fear across our nation with bank closures, political upheavals, threats of nuclear war, continued food shortages and constant new viruses. Fear of never of God. Today I want to share with you a lesson God taught me a few years ago. “The devil needs fear to operate in […]
I read something online last week that was quite profound. It said, “A big mac doesn’t cost $3.99, it costs your health. Netflix doesn’t cost $17.99; it costs your time. Social media isn’t free, it costs your focus. There is always a hidden cost.” I found these statements to be so very true. There is […]
Over the weekend, I was sitting outside in the early hours of the morning. I laid my Bible down and looked around. There was a thick fog over the land, so much so that in some areas you could not see clearly. I knew there were trees within my vision, but I couldn’t see them […]
Lately, I have sensed a rise of hopelessness. Not only in non-Christians but in the church as well. I can understand why many feel this way. It seems the battles have been unending for years now. When we think things in our nation can’t get any worse, they do. When we feel we have overcome […]
Today, I came across an old email. One, I had obviously kept for some time. It was from a partner and she was giving a testimony of something God had done for her. As I read this note (that I had read several times before) it again blessed me just as it did the first […]
Some days I need times of refreshing in the love of God. When I do, my go to is worship. Yesterday was one of those days. As I sat quietly, listening to worship music, a familiar song began to play, one I had heard hundreds of times. However, this time, it captured my attention. The […]
While reading a book recently recommended by a friend, this author quoted another author…the quote she shared was so profound that I knew I needed to share it with you today. The quote was from a book by Dr. Caroline Leaf, Who Switched Off My Brain? It says, “Negative words can be more harmful to […]
I sat silently listening to this young girl pour her heart out. It was obvious, she was speaking out of years of hurt. For that reason alone I said nothing. Later, I would ponder her words and ask God for direction in how to speak with her. This young girl had been a drug addict […]
Lately, I have been led to pray a particular scripture for our partners. It is found in Genesis 26:12-14. “Then Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions […]
Recently I watched as someone reacted to a frustrating situation. As long as we live, we will all have things that bring us distress. However, it is not those things that will hinder our joy or blessings in life, it is our reaction to them. This person’s anger to the situation puzzled me as I […]
…so that every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Matthew 18:16 God always confirms His Word. At least that has been my experience. He will often tell me the same thing over and again through several different people, until He gets my attention. When He does that, it is […]
Recently, I was studying the book of Acts. It always amazes me that the outpouring of God was still going strong two years later, as we find in Acts 2. I began to think about how the people of God kept their passion for God and His works burning strong for that long. These days, […]
I heard a statement today that stopped me in my tracks. It was so profound and insightful. The comment was, “Complaining is to the devil what praise and thanksgiving is to God.” Stop and think about that for a moment, let it sink way down deep inside. Complaining is to the devil what praise and […]
Hearing the ding of my phone, I picked it up to see who was texting me at this late hour. Consequently, it was my sister and she was sharing a property with me that had just come on the market. While pulling up the information, I was shocked. This beautiful church built in 1887 had […]
This past weekend, I received numerous calls and texts from people needing prayer. They were all facing the same challenge, the attacks were coming against their body. It seemed the enemy was on the warpath in his agenda to kill, steal and destroy. I believe we are in a time of promise, preparing to walk […]
For the past couple weeks, I have been hearing the following phrase. “The camels are coming.” Now, I know many of us have heard this statement, however, I believe God is speaking it for THIS time and confirming it. Allow me to explain. Like I said, I am hearing, “the camels are coming” so much […]
Recently God reminded me of something I want to share with you today. God interrupted my sleep, speaking four words to my heart, “My people are weary.” A couple hours later I received confirmation of that word in an email from a friend. It said, “People are weary, we have to help them.” It’s true. […]
Saturday, all day, a song was on my heart. Not a Christian song and not the entire song, just one line. “You know I’ve always been a dreamer.” Over and over this song played through my mind. I think it is by the Eagles and I don’t even recall the rest of the song. Early […]
