When I first heard of the Asbury revival, I was excited, I still am. I knew revival had begun and would soon spread across our land. We are now hearing reports of revival in several different places, God is surely moving across our land. As I read about these current revivals, I can’t help but […]
Last week, God talked to me quite often about speaking to our mountains. Coincidently, I found myself studying in the book of Numbers. I read Numbers 20:8, when God began to speak to me. The scripture says… “Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their […]
Today I was thinking about spring of last year, when I was outside planting seeds with my granddaughter, Brailee. That year I felt led of the Lord to again plant a garden, not from plants that have already been started for me, but from seed. I have planted several things from seed in the past. […]
If we look around the world at the revival meetings that are beginning to crop up, we sense we are in a new moment in God. One declaring winter had passed and spring has come – a time of rejoicing was upon us. I believe we have once again, stepped into a Kairos moment. What […]
While I know the enemy often attempts to distract God’s people – lately it seems like distractions are at an all-time high. A distraction is defined as a thing that prevents someone from giving full attention to something else, a diversion, and something that causes extreme agitation of the mind or emotions. Did you know […]
Many of us enter into prayer, in faith, totally believing God for our request. However, at the first sound of bad news, our faith falters – how does this happen and what do we do about it? Faith is a funny thing. It is so very simple – it means we trust God. Yet it […]
This week I have been busy helping my daughter plan a surprise birthday party for my soon-to-be 81 year old mom. For some reason it has given me much time of reflection. As I walked through my house this morning, I was thinking about the other birthday celebrations we have had for Mom over the […]
In John 5, we find a familiar story. After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, […]
Did you know every single day you reap? And every single day you sow? Yes, it is true and I am not talking about money at all. I read something the other day from Marsha Burns. A friend sent it to me, and I couldn’t have said it better – therefore I am going to […]
Since last July, I have been walking through a challenging time. During that entire time, I pressed into God consistently and purposefully. His Word was my priority and I clung to His grace daily to come through. Frankly, when the challenge lightened, I just wanted to stop and take a deep breath. And that’s exactly […]
Friday, I shared a word God had given me about recovery. Today, I want to expound on that subject a little more. I love the story of David and how he recovered all – I believe we all love that story. It’s all about getting back what the enemy had stolen from God’s people and […]
I shared a writing with you how God spoke to me about plunder. I want to share a little more with you on that subject. First, plunder is not a passive thing. It is not something that will automatically happen. Even if God speaks to you to take action and plunder, it won’t magically happen. You must first […]
“You have My word, you’ll not go under, but you will come out with plunder.” These words were spoken to me by the Lord just before waking on Saturday morning. I recognized them immediately; they were from a prophecy I received in 2007 – sixteen years ago. Here is the prophecy… Now in your heart as […]
One week I was on the phone with one of our wonderful partners. During our conversation, she shared with me some of her experiences in giving. She told me something the Lord had spoken to her many years ago. It was quite profound; therefore, I made a mental note to remember what she had said […]
While I read yet another prayer request via email, a question ran through my mind. What harvest are you expecting? Lately, I have had numerous emails just like this one, most are needing one of two things, healing, or financial miracles. The good news is both belong to us through the cross of Jesus Christ. […]
If you read the local and national news, you will notice anger is rampant across our nation. With daily shootings, road rage, stabbings, and other acts of violence, it is obvious that anger is out of control. As born again believes, we cannot allow anger to remain in our personal lives. It must be removed. […]
While watching a well-known minister over the weekend, he gave an illustration that was extremely insightful to me. He was speaking on the moment in time of overflow. During his sermon, he used a simple coffee cup to make his point. It was as impactful as it was simple. The coffee cup sat empty on […]
It was late at night. Already dark. Normally, I would be preparing for bed, but not that night. This night God had a lesson to teach me and it was one I needed to learn. I was standing at the kitchen window, looking out into the back yard. As I said, it was dark, pitch-black […]
I have often thought, our generation desperately needs to rediscover the difference between praying for and praying through. Although more people are praying than I have ever seen, still, most do not know how to pray through – or pray and refuse to stop until they see the answer manifest. I want to share a […]
I love how God reminds me of things He has shown me in the past. Today was one of those times. He reminded me of a story I once heard from a friend concerning the Titanic. It was a very profound story – one that has stayed with me for years. She shared with me […]
