Several weeks ago, I had a dream about harvest. An unusual harvest. Last week, once again, my night was filled with scenes of a unique harvest.
The scene from the dream began at my home. In my home, was a visitor – a guest. She asked me to take her to see my garden. We loaded up in a vehicle and headed toward the garden, which was apparently someplace other than my home.
We only drove a short distance; suddenly, we were there.
In the first field, it looked like pea pods were growing. However, as we began to cut them off the vine, they were not peas at all. They were children—babies—beautiful little babies, smiling and laughing. They were being cut free from the vine. They were filled with life and joy. They laughed wonderfully as we put them in the basket to take them home.
For some reason, it was not unusual for me…to be harvesting children in the dream. It seemed like the most natural thing.
I walked over to the adjoining field. This harvest was filled with anything and everything a child could want. We harvested toys, food, clothing, books—the list could go on and on. Anything you could think of was there—every need a child had or would ever have had been met in that garden—not only needs but also wants and desires.
We set about harvesting the second garden. After a while, our vehicle was filled to the brim with children and all the things they would need. I awoke.
Even as I woke up, I pondered this dream’s unusual harvest.
The following morning, I walked through my house, searching for a notepad to write down the dream. Before sharing, I wanted to take some time to think about it and pray about it.
However, even as I began to write, I heard these words in my spirit; “Harvest of children. Harvest for children.”
I began to weep as God showed me insight into this dream.
Harvest of children would include those who will be delivered from abortion. And children who will be rescued from abuse, abduction, and trafficking. Not only that, but it would also include our children, who are lost now, not serving God. Those prodigals…they are part of this harvest of children.
It does not matter their age; they are your children, they are HIS children, and there will be, without a doubt, a harvest of children.
Harvest for children is coming as well. It is not far off. Everything they need will be provided.
The children who will be rescued will receive healing as needed. God reminded me of what Jesus once said, “healing is the children’s bread.” Some of the children will need deep healing, provided through the blood of Jesus Christ. Many will need emotional healing. That, too, will be provided. Perhaps some will need families who love them – our God will provide. This is a harvest for the children, and it will meet their every need. Physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
One thing that has stuck in my mind concerning this dream is how close it was. We only drove a short distance, but it was not far off. I believe this speaks of the time we are in. It looks dark right now, but my friend, don’t forget. God has said the harvest is coming. The children are part of that harvest!
This was an unusual harvest. I can’t even think about it without weeping. It was a harvest of children—a harvest for children— one only God can bring to pass!
I ask you to help me pray into this. Call in our children. Pray for those who need rescue. Pray for those who are away from God. Pray! Let us cry out to God and see this wonderful harvest come.

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate. (Ps 127:3-5)
See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. (Matt 18:10)
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”(Matt 19:14)
“Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.” (Ps 8:2)
Let’s Pray!
Father, we thank You for this timely dream. We agree with YOUR plan for our children. We call them home to You now in Jesus name. We ask You to send angels to deliver, to rescue, to bring forth all the children that belong in this harvest – ALL children. We pray for their healing and restoration – we pray for their bodies to be healed, their minds and emotions to be healed completely in Jesus name. Bring them in now, God, we send out the workers into the field to bring them in. We send forth the angels of God to bring them in. We send forth Your Word to bring them in. Come forth, little children, of all ages, and dwell in the Lord’s peace and presence, in Jesus name. Father, we praise You that we will see this dream come to fruition this very year, in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.
