I was sitting at my desk, catching up on correspondence from our partners. I came across a letter from one of our partners, concerning Zechariah 8:12. She shared with me how the Lord had led her to this scripture when she prayed over her offering. She said it was an answer to prayer and oh, […]
It was the cool of the evening. I was watering my freshly planted vegetable garden. Brailee was watering her flowers. From behind me, I heard her exclaim, “don’t water the weeds!” I turned around to look at her and she repeated, “Nana, don’t water the weeds!” I laughed. However, as I laughed, I thought, “wow, we […]
Recently, the Lord began to reveal to me a timeline of restoration that is coming our way. As I sought the Lord about this, He showed me several areas in His Word concerning restoration. Today I want to talk to you about the promises of restoration. Jeremiah 30:17 says, “For I will restore health to […]
I was spending my Saturday afternoon working on notes for next week’s teaching. At least that is what I was attempting to do. My mind kept wondering here and there. I had just come through a busy week. Every day was filled to the brim with some task needing to be completed. All these things […]
This week I have been helping my grandson, Bryson, complete some research papers for school. As we were working, I thought about something. There are two times a year Bryson needs some help with his writing assignments. One is the very beginning of the school year. It seems it takes him a little while to […]
This is going to be a different kind of writing – but it is what I feel the Lord is having me to write and it is for someone – maybe even you. Yesterday, I was sitting in my prayer room, praying for peace…for myself and for our partners. I felt the Lord wanted to […]
I have waited for this time – I have prayed diligently for this time! What time? A time when I begin to hear an influx of testimonies from our partners. By Tuesday of last week, I had already received five amazing testimonies from partners! I am praising the Lord for each of them. One testimony […]
This morning I was praying for our partners. As I did, I prayed that God would “bring them out” of any situations of lack, sickness or challenging times. My mind drifted back to another time God brought His people out. I began to think about exactly how He brought them out… Psalm 105:37 tells us; […]
“Toil and trouble.” This phrase ran through my mind as I hung up the phone from a conversation with a friend. I had been talking with her when she shared with me a conclusion she had come to about some things going on in her life. You see, she had been toiling with a situation […]
After a conversation with my daughter, I began to think about how most of us struggle with falling short. In our conversation she shared with me how she had been cleaning and working all weekend long but had not finished her kitchen cleaning yet. She didn’t list the things she had completed in those two […]
God once showed me a funny, yet not-so-funny illustration of how His people sometimes trust him. Let me explain. On one of our ministry trips one year, we had been driving toward home for hours and hours; the kids were tired and a little grumpy. Bryson had to stop once again to go to the […]
Lately, I have been hearing one resounding message, both from God and from several ministers I have listened to. The message I am hearing is perseverance is required. In this world of fast food, instant messages, microwaves…we want everything fast. In God, things do not always happen that way. I wish they did. I always […]
Lately, I have been sharing with you some things I believe God showed and told me. I am excited about these words from God and their confirmation. I love how God has confirmed His Word over and again. In the midst of these exciting words, people began to send me video’s from online about some […]
In January of this year, I was preparing my prayer board for the year with the things I felt God was putting on my heart. Two of the things I knew God spoke to me (and I placed on my board) are now being preached as Words from God for 2022. This encourages me greatly. […]
I was outside with my granddaughter, planting seeds. This year I have felt led of the Lord to again plant a garden, not from plants that have already been started for me, but from seed. I have planted several things from seed in the past. Some did well. A few didn’t make it past seed […]
I shared with you yesterday how and what God has been speaking to me and confirming through other ministers. This is the door we stand before; will we enter in? This morning as I was spending time with God, I felt He began to share with me that those who enter in will be those […]
Recently I walked through a tough few weeks, physically and financially. During that time, I pressed into God consistently and purposefully. His Word was my priority and His grace brought me through. Frankly, when the challenge lightened, I just wanted to stop and take a deep breath. And that’s exactly what I did. At least […]
Today, God reminded me of a dream I once had. I believe that dream is for THIS season. In the dream, my daughter, her family and I were traveling to a certain destination. I assumed it was an adventure of sorts because we weren’t traveling on highways, instead we traveled the back roads. Although I […]
Proverbs 13:12 says, “Disappointment makes the heart sick.” I have found this to be so true. In the Message Bible, it says, “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around.” The Passion Bible says it like this: When hope’s dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can […]
This week I have been studying the words recovery and restoration. Recovery is restoration. Restoration is defined in the Strong’s Concordance as; to restore, give back, set up again, restore to its original position or condition; restore back to original standing, that existed before a fall; re-establish, returning back to the (ultimate) ideal; restore back to full […]
