Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. (Amos 9:13 ESV) This scripture came to mind as the Lord reminded me of something that […]
The other morning, I awoke with a scripture rolling over in my mind. It is a very familiar scripture found in the New Testament. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things […]
I recently delved into a remarkable book by John Eckhardt titled *Fasting for Breakthrough and Deliverance*, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The pages were filled with insights that resonated deeply with me; in fact, I found myself underlining more lines than I left untouched. That’s quite unusual for me, […]
A statement has been on my mind for weeks now, probably due to the month we are in. Actually, two phrases. One is a heart of thanksgiving. The other is a thank offering. These statements caused me to reflect on something that happened to me this past week. I remember, one day a few years back, I awoke with […]
We are all guilty of it. Thanksgiving morning arrives and we are busy preparing the turkey, mashed potatoes, and homemade bread. The family is running around chattering with excitement. The house is filled with wonderful aromas and joy. It’s a great time with family and friends. But is this how this yearly celebration began? Has the giving of thanks become […]
Recently, I have been thinking about days of adversity. While thinking on this subject, God reminded me of a word I once read by Johnny Enlow that I feel is relevant today. As I read it, my spirit leapt, and I knew it was what God was speaking. “We are in a huge, huge breakthrough […]
Recently I read an article stating how many born again Christians read their Bible consistently. This study showed that only three percent of Christians daily read their Bible. 3 %! My first thought was, “how can that be true?” However, if I look around and see how many Christians are struggling in their faith, I […]
Well…this year has had it challenges for all of us, that is for sure. From the first of January until now, I have received more prayer requests, phone calls and texts from people needing prayer and encouragement than ever before. Apart from that, looking around the world can some days be discouraging. Even so, when […]
I was preparing breakfast while listening to preaching. All of a sudden, the man of God said something that captured my attention. He said, “many of you are one declaration away from breakthrough.” If we are going to see breakthrough, declaring God’s Word and promises are a must. Think about it, God created everything we […]
One-night last week, I was having some quiet time with God. To be totally transparent, I was talking to Him about some things I had been praying about, that I had not yet seen the answers to. I was saying, “God, if I am missing something, please show me.” Instead of answering my question, He […]
Today, I want to share a personal testimony with you, if I may. Something that happened a couple years ago. Let me begin with this; my prayer life usually consists of prayers for those I love, for our partners, for the ministry and for my family – not necessarily in that order. And they are […]

This morning someone sent me a prophetic word from Marsha Burnes that I want to share with you. It was a tremendous encouragement to me, as well as an assurance of the blessings God has ordained for each one of us. In a vision I saw an ancient Roman Colosseum with Christians having been rounded […]
Over the weekend, I was meditating on the many ways God speaks to His people. As you know from my writings, He speaks to me most often in simple terms. For instance, God speaks through things in our natural surroundings. Have you even been awakened several days in a row at a particular time? I […]
Jesus said it like this; According to your faith, be it unto you. (Mt. 9:29) One night, while waiting to hear from God on a particular prayer, God said it to me like this; “I can only take you far as you are willing to go.” He went on to say, “You will have to […]
The way a mother hears the voice of her child has always been insightful to me. That child can whisper the quietest sound and a mom hears it, even from a distance. Or if that child calls on the phone, they don’t have to announce their name, their mom knows their voice. While this is […]
Yesterday I read a word from Bill Burns. But even before I read it, the Lord had been talking to me about a particular scripture found in the Psalms. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the […]
“You have My word, you’ll not go under, but you will come out with plunder.” These words were spoken to me by the Lord just before waking on Saturday morning. I recognized them immediately; they were from a prophecy I received in 2007 – seventeen years ago. Here is the prophecy… Now in your heart […]
I walked to my mailbox today to retrieve my mail. One piece jumped out at me – on the back of this envelope were the words, “God Remembers You.” My mind went to the days of Noah. As we know, Noah and his family were saved from the judgment that came upon the earth. Why? […]
In our region, we are experiencing an unusual Fall season this year. Each morning, there’s crispness in the air, a refreshing coolness that hints at the changing season. However, as the day unfolds, by lunchtime, the warmth sets in, often transforming the atmosphere into something far more summer-like. You find yourself unsure of what to […]
