In my walk with the Lord, over the past 25 years, I have heard many people teach that we are not bound by time. I have heard it taught that we can apply the word of God and cause a breakthrough in particular areas of our life. I have seen that principle work in my […]
Over this past weekend I thought a lot about position. I remembered something my pastor once said to me; he said to me, ‘don’t look at the conditions – hold your position.’ It was one of those things that went off in my spirit. You know what I’m talking about, when you hear something that […]
Do you realize that the presence of God is the absolute greatest gift we can give as believers? If you have the tangible presence of God in your life you can change lives, including your own. You can bring peace into a situation that is chaos, if you have the presence of God in your […]
There is a movie I have watched several times, although it is a tear jerker, it is also a picture of grace under pressure. The movie is called Amish Grace, it is about a time in the Amish community when a non-Amish man went into their school and shot several girls, with several of them […]
Numerous times over the past week I have heard a little statement in my spirit. The statement is ‘get in the ark!’ Of course I can’t hear a statement like that without thinking about Noah. As we all know, when God destroyed the earth with water, He first provided protection and provision for those who […]
A couple years ago, when Bryson was seven years old he went through a season of sowing. One Monday morning he came by my office with his mom. He came up the stairs to my office to give me something. He handed me two quarters, a dime and a nickel. He said ‘here Nana, this […]
My little granddaughter, Brailee, had a need of more comfort items than Bryson ever did. Brailee carried around a Minnie Mouse blanket with her everywhere she goes, actually she still does. It even goes with her to school in her backpack. Today I thought about something she did a couple years ago, when she was […]
Today I was thinking about a time when Bryson was small and went on vacation with his parents. Bryson had always believed he could fly, even from a small boy…I loved that about him. While they were on vacation, they visited an indoor skydiving facility. Brandon wanted to let Bryson try it, and Bryson wanted […]
After the series of dreams God gave me last week, I have been careful to watch my time and make sure I am putting God first in all things, no matter what I am doing. I have, as the word says, made sure my mind was stayed on God at all times. One night this […]
Last week I read an article by Regner Capener about Appointments with God. It was an awesome article. He spoke of different times that people he knew or was acquainted with had made an appointment with God for certain things. First he spoke of a pair of sisters who had made an appointment with their […]
This morning I awoke from a series of dreams from the Lord that impacted me greatly, but before I share those with you let me begin with what is taking place in my family at this time. I have a nephew who is getting married in September. I have been busy helping my sister with […]
One morning this week, I was preparing for my time with the Lord, when I began to feel His distance. I could also sense that loud silence that I get from God when I need to adjust something. I prayed for a while, and that didn’t feel right. I read my bible and that didn’t […]
Have you ever noticed that many times people go through the same things over and over again? In 2006 I walked through a tremendous battle, just one year later, I found myself going through the exact same battle. The battle in 2006 lasted several months. I became tired and weary of the fight while well-meaning […]
As the Lord has been talking to me about the season we are in, I have made some life changes. I have made sure that I always, wherever I may be, have scriptures for confession in my hand. Every moment I have free, I am quoting scriptures and enlarging my capacity to receive. One night […]
This week I read a word by Chuck Pierce that took me back to an awesome time in my life. The word said; I hear The Lord saying to us: increase your voltage capacity because your current capacity for my Glory will be overloaded by the power surge that’s coming! Several years ago, about fifteen […]
I had an interesting morning today. As I went to check mail I had a birthday card from Kenneth Copeland Ministries. I thought ‘wow, they have sent me a birthday card early in the month for about 10 years.’ As I was marveling over this, God said ‘they have been faithful to you, be faithful […]
For those of you who don’t know…Pearls are timely words God gives that we feel an urgency to share with our readers…. Something is going on with the number 52. It started with me last week. I was working on a project and the Lord said ‘do enough for 52 weeks.’ Therefore I worked on […]
I read an article today at www.charismamag.com by Oral Roberts that ignited my faith. It originally ran in 1977. I love Oral Roberts, I always have. I have visited what he birthed into this earth and I felt the presence of God there as well as a strong presence of FAITH on his land, tangible […]
This past weekend, I was spending time with God and thinking on different times and seasons I have walked through. I began to think about a time, around fifteen years ago, when I felt compelled to give God a tithe of my day. During that time I did nothing until I had spent 2 hours […]
My little granddaughter has always loved horses. Her mom thought it was a phase and she would outgrow it, but she hasn’t. She LOVES horses. Each time we go in a store that sells mostly animal food, she will run to the toy horses and have to have another one…even though she has most of […]
